Who We Are
Our Story
This journey began in November of 2023 when I became unsatisfied with the beard products from the large commercial brands. I began making beard balms, butters and oils late at night for myself and passed them out to coworkers and family. The feedback was positive and I decided to start selling our products. While making the beard products, I became interested in candles (with a little pressure from my wife). A demand began to grow for both the beard products and candles and Bayou Beard Co was born.
Our Products
Our beard products are made with beneficial oils, waxes and butters. the oils and butters are fast absorbing and non greasy. the wax blend in the balm is firm allowing for styling and holds up well in the summer heat. While we strive to use all natural ingredients, we do use synthetic fragrance to achieve our unique scents. The fragrance is IFRA (International Fragrance Association) compliant.
Our candles are a proprietary blend of paraffin, soy and beeswax that finds a balance of burn time and hot throw. We use wood wicks in all of our candles. Wood wicks offer a slightly longer burn and has a pleasant soft crackle.
